think it'll rub?

alright guys, i'm about to plung into buying some dubz for my car. it's been a long a$$ time coming but i have the funds to get it now. the question is should i get 17's or 18's. so far i have the eibach prokit on there so it sits about an inch lower than stock. the 18's would look damn nice, but i think they might rub. the 17's may be good cause the roads in the bay area aren't exactly the best...don't want dings and scratches everywhere. tell me what you guys think. oh yah and it's them Giovanna corsicas that i've been talking about (chrome). thanks.

i got 17x7 with a 40+ offset. have springs but haven't put them on yet. last week, i had 3 people in the back seat and the fender was 1/2" away from sitting on the tire...keep in mind thats with the stock springs! make sure you get a 42+ or higher

i have skunk 2 coilover set at 1.5 drop but my camber is off so they are angled in they dont rub i have 17's with a 215/45/17 they never rub but you want to make sure that you have no more than 2 people in the back and if you have heavy subwoofers then the two people have to be light so your boys have to go on a diet.

I'd get 18's. I have 18's with a 1.5 " drop and +42 offset. It don't rub, and it rides great.

I've got 18's 225/40/18, doesn't run without the car being lowered, but I'm afraid mine might rub once I bring the car down an inch and a half...we'll see..... But I will tell you this, 18" Aluminum rims are a pain in the ass..already have dings on 3 of 4 rims, they are all going in to get re-trued and painted charcoal grey this winter while the stockers are back on the car. Pain in the a#@ but I wouldn't give them up....hahah!
