Subwoofer Question

Is there enough space in our trunks to fit a ported 15" Kicker L7?
Dimensions: 16 1/2" Tall X 21 1/2" Wide X 18" Deep

yea

enough to hit hard?
Currently I have 2 15" mb quarts they are circle though and sealed.
I was wondering how much of a difference would the 15" square kicker ported would be since it is so much deeper than mine.

You should be alright with it and if you have enough room you should try and customize a box. If I were you and worried about space I would try to see if you can make a box on the right side of the trunk were there is that little place to put things in. That would def give you a lot more space than having the box in your trunk.

I think you meant in the middle of the trunk, haha. What's wrong with your current setup? I'm also thinking that you could just go take a ruler or some measuring tape and measure it out...

I saw the idea in a 3rd gen thread and I just thought that it would go good there since there is already an area there for something like it.

In one of my Accords, I had the amp over there, but on the left side (98 Accord sedan). I T-Boned so hard once that it ripped out the 4 screws and shot it to the right side. Needless to say, the amp was destroyed.

1 15" ported l7 will fit. in general, ported box are usually bigger than sealed. Do you have 2 15" ?

another factor to consider is if the box is built to spec.
