SNOW TIRES will make a huge difference. It's supposed to snow tonight out here, so this weekend I'm going to buy a new set of Blizzaks...

How many inches fell out in your neck of the woods???

6-10 inches...
used a rope and a neighbor's truck to get her free.... the ice was directly underneath the middle front of the car.. where the axles are and was about 1 foot high, and rock hard ice too, thank god its free now.. oh well...
snow tires are prob mad nice.. i wonder if snow chains are a good investment too?

You can try pouring salt around the tires next time....it'll dissolve the snow/ice faster.

also if you get a bag of sand and you can heat it (in the oven or similar) it will make the ice pourous enough to drive on and melts icenin 2-10 seconds. It's how they deice runways at airports.
