Just wondering how all u guys felt about springs and coilovers. Which one is better for ride and handiling, or does it really not even make that much of a difference?

Well, it really depends on what you are looking for. If you want to lower the car and improve the handling, you could go with sport springs and a new set of shocks. If you stay with the stock shocks and do the sport springs only, your shocks will wear out very quickly. The coilovers are essentially a shock and a spring combined, and you lower your car more than just with springs and shocks. And the handling should improve greatly as well. As for the ride, any modification you do to the suspension will change the ride. When you increase the handling, usually you have to sacrifice the ride. The best thing to do is find a happy medium between the two.

after having coil~oners in my 88 civic, pretty much sitting on the ground, i have to say the the handeling wasEXCELLENT, when i was trying to push it. THe only bad thing is u are constantly bouncing around~front end and back! i felt it wasnt worth in in a "real"car, so i got some sport springs for my 97 3.2 TL. i do have to say that i wished it dropped my car more than just and inch and a half, but ill take it not to be bouncing all over the road @ 530 inthe morning on my way to work~plus, it saves me from being a SPEED DEMON and driving like i was n the indy!
