Speakers shorting out?

Speakers shorting out?
My stereo and speakers seem to be all jacked up. My rear speakers cut in and out and crackle when they do work. Sometimes only the left speakers work. Any ideas on this issue. I have never messed with the system but I think there might be a short or something somewhere.

yup check the wire in the trunk.....because mine use to do the samething...but i had a system in it and i have the speakers hooked up to the back factory speakers and the wires use to touch the metal part around the speakers and they use to cut of and sometimes only the left will work and then sometime only the right...so make sure that the wires are right and not touching the metal part.....
