So Scrwed!
Well today after school i was changing my oil while i was looseing the oil pan bolt and the part that u actually screw into cracked off so now i cant screw the plug back in because the part i screw into is cracked off. Are they going have to replace my entire oil pan to fix this if so how much will that run me?

there may be hope still....there is something called a timesert. this is a threaded insert that has to be fitted into whatever hole you are trying to rethread.... there is a good chance that in trying to put it in the pan that it may mess up your pan though...but ive had it work on many occasions....good luck

yeah man i had it checked out by 2 places the only thing to do is replace the pan it ended up being 600 dollars labor and 475 for the pan, when i first called the dealer they quoted me 225 for install or somethign like that then i get it towed down there and they tell me ohh yeah we though u had a 3.2 and its alot easier to put an oil pan in a 3.2 then they tell me since u have a 2.5 its gunna be 600 and its already down at the dealer and the other places i called all quoted me like 550 so i just left it at the dealer it should be ready on tuesday. Im still pissed this is gunna put a major delay on my rims since im only 16 and my parents make me pay for everything i do and i almost had enough for my rims but my dad is throwing down the price of the oil pan but im still out 600 bucks
