so im thinking about some new leather
its just a thought so dont kill me or anything but the leather in my front driver seat and passenger seat is starting to crease and crack and look its age (8-9 yrs). so im thinking about getting new leather put on those seats (if they can match the back) or get the front and rear done in a greyish taupe. anyone done this or thinking about it also? whats a fair price for each (front, front and rear). i ask because the STEALER quoted just one front driver piece at A GRAND!!!! so im def taking it somewhere else! also since i would be doing this.... im thinking "ACURA" or the Acura "A" symbol on the head rest facing the front in white or black. whats your take on that? anyways just a thought.

look up auto upholstery in your phone book. i have a guy in nj that will do it, and for a really good price. turn around time is a couple days....he does top notch work, i think full leahter (not half leather half vinyl like OEM) front and rear seats he would do for 13-1400. the stitching will be perfect, like factory too. he also has a lot of colors/textures for you to choose from./

my leather was doing the same thing. My backseat was MINT along with my passenger. My driver was ok, but the part to the left where you get in, was getting worn pretty good. Hey if it's not too pricey I'd do it.

My driver's side looked like that, cleaned it and it looked far better.
I got some high quality leather and got the seats (front and back) completely redone for just over a thousand.

I have heard of products or services (?) that can extend the life of leather that looks like this, but I can't remember where I heard of it. Anybody know? My driver's seat looks just like that.

3.2 and 2.5 (those that have leather) are the same on the drivers side. You wont have a heated seat though if you get a 2.5 or non-premium 3.2 seat

I got some kind of leather protection package that was 50 or 100 $$ extra when my mom bought her new car.... has a cleaner, conditioner and some other garbage.. anyway, it really makes a difference. If you're considering forking out some $$ to replace the leather, why not drop 50 bucks on a kit and see how it looks.
As for the headrests, definitely do the A inside the circle.... Acura spelled out would be too much.. the A emblem would be clean and classy. Also, if you're going with a darker color for your seats like grey/taupe, get the emblem stitched in a light grey or offwhite.. white would be too harsh against the darker leather and would ruin the clean/classy look. I learned this when I got a windshield decal on my old ride (red '00 grand cherokee). The white stuck out way too much and looked awful. A silver or light grey would have been perfect.
