hi folks.
Its been raining hard here in RI.
I get out of work at night.
Along the way, I accidental side swipe the freaken curb with both the passenger side rims are now scratched.
I am going crazy right now, swearing alot for being so stupid.
How do you guys fix the scratches besides bringing it to an autobody?
By the way, how much does one pay roughly for autobody solution?

lol damn you are lucky...last time it was raining hard here in MD, my back tire got smashed in, i needed a new rear right and left camber or something like that...and my rim is actually crooked, so im buying a whole new set of wheels..... they are the same...just chromed...

rim refinish depends on the area.. they range from like 80-130 depending on how serious the damage is..

Some a**wipe lane drifted and I managed to sqeeze by him but scuffed the front rims. Any one know of a good rim repair place in Vancouver or North Vancouver? Not too seriously damaged but scratches are evident.

Rim and wheel works are pretty good. They use to be in Newton but I think they are in Waltham now. I have type S rims on my TL and they did all four plus painted them gunmetal for 400. Check them out.

They do it on all wheels. They had a set of racing harts there for 7 or 800 (I can't remember) and the person paid to have them done and just never came back to pick them up. So to answer your question, yes they do.

Hey dude I live in R.I too..where abouts are ya?...same thing happened to me a few weeks ago the front rim on my 03 tl-s is all scratched on the outter rim..I wounder if you could go to first acura or Inskip and see if they have any way of repairing it.

where in RI? i go to URI btw... and theres nothing around here, there rnt even like custom car shops man, just head to boston and you'll find what you need, good luck with that though.

I had this done on my nsx. $600 for all 4 (18" rears, 17" fronts). They came to my home and did the repairs in my garage. I found them by looking up "wheel repair" on dexonline.com

Mad TL's on campus... who the hell are you people!? Everyone stares at me and i stare at them driving past but never know how the hell you are... but yeah lets get together in RI... its ashame to go anywhere cool you need to drive an hour though

There are a few people on here that have TLs in RI that I'm sure would be down for a meet. There is a flyer on here if you do a search you can probably find it, print it out, and put them on the windshields. We should def get a meet going on.

Hey Cboy - Bring it to Inskip and they can fix it for you. I scratched up my RJ Inspires and brought it to them and they came out really nice! Actually used them twice and they did a good job both times. Can't remember what they charged but it was reasonable (<$50 I think).
