usually that's how tinting laws go...you have to have less tint on the front so the popo can see the driver.

he has higher tint in the front, no? 35% front and only 20% in the rear

or am I just a total nub when it comes to tinting? lol Does 35% mean how much is visible or how much is darkened?

35% is how much light gets through.

5% is about as dark as it gets. Usually called limo tint.

65% would be a really light tint. Usually factory stuff.

Hmm...when we work on the lowered vehilces that we can't get on the lifts we have a highly modifed set of super duper ultra technical new wave 2x6 boards that we slowly pull the car up onto raising the vehicle off the ground an additional 2" and allowing the lift arms to slide in under the car.

Now, this technology is not available at all shops but I would hope that you can find one in your area that has heard of it.

Good luck!

P.S. the tone is mainly a joke. the 2x6 boards are the truth. just use long enough boards with beveled edge and it usually does the trick. Once in a while we have to take a rolling floor jack to add just a wee bit more to get the lift arms under but its really not that hard to by pass the whole "low" thing.
