Rolling the fenders

Who here has had their fenders rubbed (profesionally) not with a bat or something..

What is the process?

Do they take out the fenderwell trim or remove the rubber strips that run along the fender?

Do the have limit on how far you can roll them out?

Once they are rolled will you notice a BIG difference from OEM?

How much to do this?

Can you just roll the rear wells instead of the front two?

Thanks..

They take off the wheel and bolt a special tool in place. It then rolls across the fender lip pushing it up.

Yes they have to remove the rubber strip. I guess it goes back on after that. I'm not too sure since I've never had it done.

They roll it as far up as it can go. It all depends on how much you're rubbing. Some wheels just wont work even if you roll your fenders.

What do you mean by that? If you mean will it look the same as OEM then it pretty much will. You will hardly be able to tell the lip is rolled up unless you compare it to another TL side by side. If you mean as far as rubbing, if you only rub over bumps or when theres people in the back, this should help ALOT.

How much to do this?

Its pretty cheap. It should be under $100.

You can do whatever you want.
