right wheel problem

right wheel problem
ok when i start up my car..and head to the stop sign where i always hear a clank noise,(i live on a dead end street so its short distance from stop sign) coming from the rightwheel... any one know what it would be? i took off the wheel but i dont see anything..of whatso ever is the problem..but goin to check again.

You hear it just once? Do you hear it when you have started to apply the brakes for the stop? If so, possible missing some shim hardware for the brake pads...maybe....

never break. i hear it once in while when i start the car and drive 1000ft.check the breaks there no problems too it..im thinking because i go over bump and i hear it most of the time.

Hmmm...not sure, you could check the spring pearch for the right front strut. See if where the bottom of the spring contacts the strut and see if there is a contact mark on the spring itself. Maybe the lip on the strut got bent in a little and is popping on the strut. Only thing about this, I would think you would here it more often...

I had the same problem 2weeks ago, hit a real deep bump and it was gone, kinda messed up for that to happen but hey i guess it fixed my problem.....this stunt should not be attempted at home.
