Removing front seats

I'm taking my front seats out for major cleaning this weekend and was wondering what is the easiest way to pull them out of the car. i have done this on my Legend before but it has non-power seats teh the doors open wider and i still scratched the doorpanels a little bit. I dont want to mess up the TL, so do you guys have any tips/ ideas on how to get em out w/o hurting anything?

btw how do you take out the rear seats? I just realized it may be different from the Legend's rear seat

rear: there are like 3 bolts in the crack. unbolt those and lift the seat part up and out.

front passenger seat: unbolt the bolts and ... oh crap i only took it out once to run my speaker wires but forgot. I do remember it was a pain to take it out. the doors didn't open up wide enough but i got it out.

did you recline the seat all the way before removing it or bend it all the way forward? I bet you took it out through the rear door.

move front seat all the way back.. remove those two first.. then move seat all the way up to front and then remove the two rear bolts.. after u remove the rear bolts, you will need to tilt the whole seat backwards to unhook the wires for the power switch... after unhooking the power lines u can then remove the seat...

all done..

^^^ just got your IM.. sorry was asleep... yes tilt the recline all the way forward... it will allow u to access the rear bolts easier and also give you clearance when u take it out of the front door...
