Hi,
The top 3 DEI products I'd recommemd and actually put in my car is a Viper,Python, and Valet.
The difference in the 3 are the pricing and warranty, although they share the same technology. All my family members and I have DEI products installed in their cars and not one had failed.
I use to have the stock remotes. Now that I looked back, I'd pay just too much for the keyless entry option when I bought the car. It was something like $500-600 bucks extra. I hated it because its soo limited. I mean, the range sucks, its damn f***ing ugly, and most importantly, it doesn't confirm doorlock/unlock by atleast honking the horn or flash the parking light to inform us. It was cheap, and this was suppose to be a luxury company. Then at one point, I did hooked up the parking flash and horn honk with a relay. Then, I finally have had it, and decided to just upgrade to a better unit.
I have the Viper 791XV, and I'm proud to say that I installed all of the 40 plus wires by myself using a digital meter and a wiring diagram from Bulldog Security with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I took me like the whole weekkend and a sick day to get it done. I now dont have any trouble installed any DEI products.
Heres a place to nuy the lowest price DEI products.
