After finally getting a matching set of S2000 rears on my car after saving and saving, I was able to enjoy them for literally 1 day.

Mounted Saturday, went straight home, didn't really drive too much yesterday, got sick today and...


Got slashed today. A nice, relatively straight, slit through the side of one of the Potenzas. Luckily, this tire has a stiff sidewall and the knife or whatever wasn't able to completely go through, but the damage is done, and I'm leaking nitrogen. I have no money to buy new tires, and will have to go staggered/mismatched again.

Why do these things happen to me?

It was the front that got slashed and I already knew what they looked like. I had the wheels on like an S2K at one point, wider in the rear, and I've been doing reverse stagger recently (wider in the front). I have an idea who it was: the beat up Suburban in front of me. The asshole probably thought that my bumper damage was from me hitting his car, when it was from others hitting me. I mean, the top of my bumper cover literally has a crease from being hit so hard that it folded. I swear, I'm going to camp near my car and wait. I know I'll see him again, and when I do, he's going to pay for the damages. To add insult to injury, I also got a new bumper hit. I'm thinking of adding spikes like my friend has on his cars...
