Rear strut tower bar

Has anyone installed a rear strut tower bar on your TL? (It's the bar that ties that top of the strut support together and is located in the trunk of the car. I was thinking of making one up and wondered how effective it would be............. Thanks!

I'll have to take the back seat out to have a look. Did you by any chance measure the bolting circle of the bolts that hold the struts. Also, how many bolts are there? ............. Thanks!

it may not make a difference because the rear deck acts as a chassis stiffening member. there is also a cross brace right behind the back seat, which is why the backseat does not fold down.
