rear ended
i just got rear ended today. i barely came to a stop coming off the off ramp when a camry served my behind. it then pushed me into a commercial sized van. all of us that were involved in the accident agreed to call the police. we had to take turns calling several times before they answered and when they did show up they decided not to write a report. the officer said that its not too serious, so he left us to exchange insurance info.. a$$hole. The damage to my car = Loose rear bumper, loose frount bumber, jammed hood, and leaking radiator. as soon as i got home i called my insurance. they suck. they told me to wait 2-3 days for the adjuster to call. what?!!! how the heck am i suppose to get to work now, argh!! what should i do? should i contact a lawyer? my back kinda hurts. should i go get it checked out? help.

1st off, tell your insurance that you can't get to work due to the damaged TL. they SHOULD tell you to get a rental car while the guy who hit you from behind's insurance company will pay for the rental. they have to give you rental car in the mean time they wait for the adjuster to call!! tell them that you cant get to school and work without a car.....that'll force them to get you a rental car. if you do get a rental....ask for a navigator!!

Actually, the accident wasn't too bad. I was at a merge lane, and the guy behind me thought I was going to go, and so he went. I was waiting for a car to go by, and he figured the both of us could beat it. The reason it looked so bad was because he was in a huge Dodge Ram truck with an offroad kit on it. Looking at the pic, you can see he more or less went right over my bumper. The shop had to cut off the back of my car and weld a new one on!
