I just got a price quote for the converter....It's $236. Seems kinda high doesnt it? :wow:

no thats not a bad price i think most catalytic converters are around there

that price is around the going rate for cats that will actualy pass inspection hehehe.. dammit screw the enviornment.. we will be dead in 100 yrs newayz... by that time our kids should invent something to clean up the air hehehe or at least put the whole earth into its own bubble..

Dealer wants $1,044 bucks (yes thats right) for a new catalytic converter for a 1997 3.2 TL. Now that you know that... its a bargin to buy a new cat:yack:

Thats ridiculous. But thats where the dealerships make their money. Think about it...$100 for changing the D4 light? I did that myself, there is no way that job is $100. What a joke the dealerships are.
