hey guys, was tooling around on eBay for an extra keyless remote for the TL and stumbled across this:

Guy selling this says that this will work for the 2.5tl, but then he also says that it will work on a "3.5TL"! so trust him at ur own risk!

Just wanted to pass this information along. Hope somebody benefits

I was shown by my Acura dealer that our 2.5's did not come with a remote. I saw the info and I am inclined to believe them.
The only way to get a remote is to get a aftermarket alarm.
Only the 3.5's came with a remote.

2.5's did come with a keyless entry system. However it was not a "stock" Acura alarm if u will and instead I believe it was a Kenwood unit or something - maybe it was a dealer installed accessory. Either way, these remotes are much harder to find and cost around 85 buck from the dealer so this may be a good opportunity to pick one up for cheap.

I have a 2.5 and mine came with a keyless remote entry. The car has a stock alarm on it, however it could not be activated through the keyless entry.
