Thanx for all your good comments about my car. I feel so good about my purchase of the TL (this was my first used car). It looks and drives well!!! No complaints. So keep your comments going i like to hear feedback.

As you can see my car is all stock ....I like the clean, classic, sophisticated look. Down the road i will do my own mods. My first mission is to hook up a woofer (early next year) and as the tires wear out replace them with some nice rims. But for now ..i will use (and abuse) the stock options ....makes sense right?

 

Isn't it against the law in canada to get the clear bumper lights?

If not ...how much do they cost (Canadian Fund)?

 

Kind of cost a lot to install a woofer doesn't it?

i have no idea if its against the law, but i've had mine for over a year now (plus i use white bulbs with them) and cops have driven by me no problem at all.. they sorta respect the "luxury" cars more than the civics i think

well everything is against the law in t.o. now... lowered cars and aftermarket exhaust are all against the law... but i haven't had any problems with those two mods either...

i guess it all boils down to how obnoxious your car sounds, how fast you were driving, and how big an a$$ the cop is...

but the clear corners should be no problem....
i'm even getting the inspire lights in a couple of months!!!!

i paid about $200 canadian for mine including shipping and the absurd taxes... (but that was before our loonie was worth less than a peso)... prices have sorta gone down too for the clears themselves

My car looked exactly the same when I got it. I put on the clear corners, and they made it look 100% better (everybody says so). Thy were very easy to install. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and I haven't had a problem (I've got white bulbs, too). Also- the Sunroof visor looks good on our cars.

Finally- get some good lights. I picked up some Eurolite Xenon's for $40CDN/pair and they're a great improvement over the stocks (but now I have to buy the 4 side markers and the 2 blinkers to match). I left the yellow in the fogs (I like it). I'm going to try the polarg's next.

Seriously. Get the clear corners. They look great on that colour.

i agree...i have the clear bumper lights with polarg turn signals and PIAA plasma blue parking lights. i thought the plasma blues would have a tint of blue but it actually turned out to be really blue. so, if you want the all-white-with-a-shade-of-blue effect, dont buy the plasma blues.

Sorry this post was a while ago ..but i am currently making a bid for the clear bumper lights on EBAY right now. Did you say that you paid $200 for the clear lights PLUS the bulbs?
