Old Guy here...

Haven't been on here in a LONG time since I sold my TL. Any old timers still around? Trying to remember some names...Kamlung, Ken1997TL, Slownlow32tl, praxiis, Cornflake, Mike1989Acord96TL...

The last I remember, Ken did the TypeII swap, Mike89Accord got a new TL/CL, Astro just got out of jail, and Inspired Motorsports was finishing up their kits and I think only one board member bought it and painted it.

I have since had 3 cars since the TL and I must say, that car was so damn smooth, good power, handled well, just an all-around great car. I should buy one with low miles and keep it as my winter car. My TL crapped out on me at about 175k miles with tons of repairs, but up until then there wasn't one problem with that car.

Anyway, how is everyone doing?

I'm still here, but I tend to frequent ramblings. I stop by the 1st gen forum every so often.

I've been doing ok. I'm in "Central" Jersey now, but I frequent South Jersey often. I am driving a 2004 GTO now. I'll post up pictures when I get some (probably next weekend...Show N Go at Atco Raceway)

How's everyone's TLs, assuming you all still have them??

Thinking about getting an S2000 for next summer, we'll see if the '97 stays around

Few exterior changes for now. Gonna do some wheels in the spring and start on the engine shortly after.

Yep. I wouldn't have considered it if it had the typical crappy American interior. I am a very big interior person and this one is very nice. Simple, but good quality.

Yes, I changed the taillights from the stock GTO red with white circles to Commodore VX taillights. They are a direct swap.

I had a honda accord between the TL and the GTO. The accord is now owned by my brother. Very basic car but reliable!
