howdy fellas, 96 2.5 in Albany NY and Im looking to clear something up here. A few weeks ago I read here that the size of our front door speakers was 5 1/4", and I bought a dirt cheap set of 5.25" front components... Now Im seeing these postings saying that they are 6.5's?? if I paid full price for these speakers and I ended up being wrong I might be ****ting/wetting myself right now but can anyone help me out here? Im thinking maybe that discussion about 6.5's was either the Bose stock, or just the upgrade of choice... thanks a lot, keep it real up in the field

I don't have the Bose stereo and my front door speakers are 6.5's. Trust me, I replaced them with Focals so I know for sure. Sorry.

 

hey since we're on the subject of door speakers, can one of you guys tell me how you wired your component speakers? i myself am using the factory wires. can't i get more clarity if i upgrade the wires? how did you guys get the new wires through the door gromet? its pretty tight in there

 

Well the 6.5's are on their way, its just a ***** having to return the 5.25's to this internet company. thanks for the heads up bro
