New Wiper Blades

New Wiper Blades
Hey everybody, Just picked up a set of the new Innovision Wiper Blades from Napa, Despite the $40 I had to shell out for a pair. These are new wiper blades that have no metal bracket holding the rubber blade; there is basically one connector and a long thin strip of rubber. The blades are spring loaded, so they conform perfectly to the windshield. They look pretty cool, really slim and clean looking. Will post pictures soon. Anybody painted their windshield wiper arms? All the black paint on mine has faded off and Im thinking about repainting them.

These are the new blades...They are awesome, used em for the first time in the rain the other day...Cannot hear the thing whatsoever and they are a lot cleaner looking than normal blades...they are spring loaded and the blade creates a perfect arc which allows it to conform to the windshield without any pressur points...Go look at your current blades and you will notice the 4 or 6 little arms holding the rubber blade onto the metal..These arms are where the blade can bend to curve with the windshield...those points of pressure create an uneven amount pressure on the blade...causing it to squeak and deform over time...Sorry to write so much guys... I worked at NAPA for 2 years and had a lot of down time to read up on parts...car theories, and learn an assload of info from the machinist we had working there
