Like Mike said, you just bought a car that will last forever if you take good care of it. Low miles too. I just passed 70k in my 98. Driving back and forth to school kills my mileage, but Im keeping it forever so its not like its gonna affect my resale value lol. Browse often and post often! Welcome aboard

Well let me welcome you with this smilie...
But really... WELCOME TO THE 1st GEN Side of the forum... hope you learn as much as I... everyone here is great... understanding... and most of all friendly... glad to see another member with a 98 2.5... about Insanepyro's post... about the emissions thing... Sad but true... we aren't covered by it... since it only consist of 95 to 97... 98 is left out in the cold on that one...
You can make sure your CV joints have been replaced by the recall... other then that... you should be ok for another 100,000 miles to change your timeing belt... i know because i'm at 172,000 on my 98 2.5 (Pearl White w/ Tan BTW) and still haven't changed it... i'll have to fix it before i change it though... had a bit of a misshap... guess you know who's the member that types alot... anyways i'm rambling on etc...
Congratz on your buy... and Welcome to the Forum...
