New Exhaust And Chrome Grille Pics

Just installed today and sounds incredible. Put on the chrome grille too, got it from ebay for $20, it looks ok up close, but real good from bout 5 feet away. Still need to use somesuperglue to get it perfect.

yes, very deep, not rice raspy AT ALL. Reminds me if just slightly of the 95 Mustang GT with flows, of course not as loud. Definit worth the $, just go to magnaflow and search for close shop. Next is the weapon R intake.

Muff was $185 installed. Cheapest I found the muffler only was online for $97.50 plus shipping. So I got jacked about $65 and change for extra parts and labor. This is a must have. There is fur sur an increase in horsies. I hear most free flow exhaust give u %5 more horsepower, so 10 extra horsies? I dunno, just feels like more umph.

i dont know about that

i dont feel that JUST a muffler is gonna give you 10 hp

is it me or am i the only person that likes my car quiet? just my opinion but i will leave the loudness to race cars and keep my TL nice and quiet

other than that car looks good

The muffler looks GREAT! I just don't know about making the exhaust any louder. I have to agree with AC Daddy in that I like having a quiet car. In fact, I'm thinking about putting the stock air filter housing on to quiet my car down. The short ram intake is nice, but I don't feel that much gain from it.

Exhaust does not "give" you horesepower. Perhaps a better use of words would be that it "frees up" horsepower. The stock exhaust systems on most cars are very restrictive. By putting free flow mufflers and bigger pipe from the cat back (if not removing the cat entirely) you are allowing the exhaust to flow through faster.

When I had a 95 stang, I raced a buddy with the 96 stang (next gen engine) He beat my by a car length on 6 runs. Then I installed ceramic headers, straight pipe (no cat), and flowmaster american thunder dual exhaust. After that I beat him by over a car lenth on 4 runs. No doubt that free exhaust = free horsepower.
