Need a Rear Driverside door

Hello folks, long time reader, first time posting. I recently got hit by dumptruck and need a used rear driverside door (cant afford a new one) The insurance company is only forking out $1200 for the door shell and paint/labor. I live in NYC. My friend works as a mechanic at Acura and said he would help me change the door if I can find a door. I need that tan color door. Anyone know any place in NYC that I can get a whole used door for cheap? Thanks in advance

"Only" $1200?! I need a read driverside door, too! How about you drive here to SF, and we use your $1200 fix both your door and mine, then you can use the remaining $300 for gas getting here?

Here's what I was quoted before:

Door skin: $300
Painting/install: $150

If insurance would give me $1200, I'd fix the door, get new axles, and get new brakes!

~Cheers~

P.S. Please consider sharing the wealth, !

Funny that you guys need doors.

I was at Pull-A-Part place today to get a tachometer for wifes Corolla, I came a cross a TL 2.5, 96 or 97. Everything was gone almost but all four doors looked in good shape.

I don't know if you're familiar with Pull-a-part, you pay $1.00 to get into the yard and remove what ever you need yourself. Than they charge you for the part.

I picked up a Tach for my wife's corolla, which has a non tach cluster, it cost me $22.00.
