Need opinions on a sub box

Right now I have 2 Rockford 12" Power DVCs with a Rockford 1100A2 bridged into them at 2 ohms which is about 900 watts total. The vented box that I'm using is crappy and leaks air. I'm getting a box made by Streeteffectz but I was wondering what some of you guys did. I know the way to get the best bass is to port the box through the rear decklid but I dont want to drill a huge hole through it. Anyone have some pics of their setups to give me some ideas?

Unless you are going to port the bass through the rear deck, I would go with a sealed enclosure.

In a sedan-type car a sealed enclosure is good because intminimizes the amount of chambers. The box itself is a chamber and the trunk also acts as another chamber. Other setups bring another chamber into play.

Sealed enclosure normally require more power, but you are not lacking in the department. Your music will be more accurate and tight.

Hope it helps,

You are definetly right about a sealed box being better. I bought a plain sealed box yesterday for real cheap until I'm ready to get the whole trunk done over. It sounds great, the bass is so much cleaner and it's definetly louder. The only thing that I still cant figure out is the best way to wire 2 DVC subs into my amp. I think its 2 ohms right now but I'm not sure. I know I can get more power from that amp if I bring it down to 1 ohm but I don't know how. I tried to wire it up but it didnt sound right so I must've done it wrong. I just gave up and put it back the way it was.
