i think you can use a claybar to get rid of the swirls
if not, step 1 or 2 of the meguiars 3 step wax thingy works also...
thers some more, but i cant think right now... its too hot

Try some wax or something, i don't think the claybar would work... it just removes dirty crap... wax might fill up the swirls and make them less visible

Use a high quality cleaner then a wax. I bought the little Simoniz cordless car buffer, works AWESOME, better than those clunky big buffers with no power, and it has some speed to it, in-between the big buffers and a full size grinder with buffing pad. Works really well for polishing the car! But I would get an extra battery for two stage wax, on my TL, one stage takes a battery and a half. You could probably even get away with just a good cleaning wax with that buffer.

I suggest 3M Hand Glaze. You can get it at NAPA. Stuff works great and your black car will shine like crazy.

The 3M swirl remover works great for swirl marks, just throw some wax on after.

He's right. The stuff work great. I just did it to my Denali and works great. But be patient when you do it. Rushing the process will do nothing..
