My 3.2 VS 2003 Camry and a Cayenne
We stopped at the light besides taylor Ford and we had a traffic circle beyond that.Me in my 3.2 and some guy in a gold Camry.
Green light!
we are neck and neck until I shift then I pull away, not sure how much. prob 1/2 a length.
100 km/h now.
the circle is comming up. 120 km/h I can see the camry in my side mirror (closer than they appear).
Ive done the circle with my Bridgestones b4 at 120k/h, but Ive got snow tires. I say to heck with it and stay at 120, didnt break ,just maintained speed, Camry cant handle it and Im pulling away more now 2-3 lengths.
then on the inside Im settting up to apex onto my exit and hit the hiway.
perfect! the tires held no probs.
as Im crossing the bridge over a street , a Porsche Cayenne is merging and the Camry and I pass him.
Soon he's with us and the Camry backs off and Im left alone.
140 Km/h
150....160.....180.....185 this Cayenne passes me like Im stopped and pulls away in a puff of greyish smoke. I slow down as I don't want my snow tires to delaminate and I end up on my top with a tree in my arse.
This guy handed me my ass on a plate.
but I got the Camry.
Guess they dont handle that well..
No wonder my mileage sucks...lol

The largest Boxster engine is a 3.2 liter flat 6. The base Cayenne uses a 3.2 liter VR6 engine. The other trims use a 4.5 liter V8 and some are turboed.
And yes they are ridiculously fast. The top of the line turbo model will run 0-60 in 5 seconds. And its a full blown heavy SUV.

Its must have been the Turbo Cayenne cuz while he was pulling away I was wishing I had my Stealth twin T again. And you know I think I would have had my hands full even with the Stealth too..
