More promblems..

Just got my Timming Belt and water Pump installed on my car and a new Valve Cover Gasket On Thursday. Everything Together Came Up To about $440. Everything worked untill sunday when I parked my car and i notice my car was leaking oil. I brung the car back on monday and the mechanic said its comming from the oil pan area and it doesnt look like it has anything to do with the install i had previously got done. He added some dye to the oil to trace and said to bring it back on wednesday but I couldnt because it was snowing outside So I'm going to bring it back today to see where It can be comming from. Also My exhaust is really loud and they checked it out and the mechanic said that I needed an new rear exhaust assembly for my car. Which exhaust setup do you guys recomend for my vechicle? THey qouted me around $310 for the exhaust and another $100

Are you losing a lot of oil? Do you have to constantly put oil in your car because it needs it, due to the leak?

when they replaced the distr, i hope they also changed the gasket... i know that it was pretty common for the i-5 to leak back there...

depends what you are looking for in the exhaust... do you want to go aftermarket, it can be a bit cheaper...

I believe last time I had to change a muffler, I got it for about 40-50% of the cost at Autozone. Check Autozone, checkers, stores as such. I would also check www.autopartswarehouse.com

I would DEF go after market for exhaust components - no sense spending $310..

On my 96 3.2 I had to replace the exhaust (I backed into a 18" high brick wall). It was less than $200 including labor. I would definitely go aftermarket.
