Ok. I couldn't figure out how to post a pic in this reply but I was able to post the pic in the photo gallery. Go see "deej0121 pics". The speedo mileage is there.

Damn, I thought I had a lot of miles on mine...244K is nothing compared to some other ones. I believe the 300K is the max on the forum, am I correct?

I wonder who has the car with the highest millage on AZ. It's probably either a 1st gen TL or RL, maybe a CL. Does anyone know, were there other threads like this elsewhere on the site?

Yeah actually I was searching around yesterday and saw a post from June of this year where he said that he has "330 ish" That's pretty impressive actually.

^Is he still on original motor? I know he swapped the trans for a manual.

I just hit 245K this morning, sitting in the parking structure at work with 245,002 on her.

Congrads on the millage, and just 5 more thousand for a quarter million miles! And I don't know if he's on the original motor but I think he is since his comment was (paraphrasing) "...I'm at 330, so your motors are barely broken in."

I don't think I'd ever buy a car with such low miles. Cars are meant to be driven, not to sit in a garage. Also, usually when you see miles like that on a non-collector vehicle, it is good to check for prior accidents. Maybe it spent half its life in a bad body shop and in the pics of this one, the front clip appears to be a little discolored from the rest of the car.

Not only discoloured, but the wrong clip. That bumper is a UA2 bumper. You can tell by its not having a jaw .

Aside from that, it's very clean inside and out and that interior is great. Love the MDX shift knob, too, except for the Acura logo. I'd rather have it blank.

~Cheers~

Heh good idea. A couple of weeks ago I thought that if someone would offer to sell me a brand new 1st gen for 20 grand I'd take it right away since you can't buy anything decent and as well built as out 1st gens for that kind of money.

It's at about 249,500 now. I bought an RL and don't drive the TL much anymore. My dad drives it now and then...it's at his house.

I'll update with the 250K mark soon.

249,921. I'm picking it up tonight and will drive it around tomorrow to hit the 250K mark and I'll bring the DLSR along to capture it.
