update: 385k km/240k miles and still going strong. Current timing belt is on 180k km, not going to replace it since this car needs alot of other work(rear suspension, rear brakes wear unven, abs, body work etc). Synthetic oil every 7k to 9k km. Surprisingly it drives almost the same since I bought it in 2003. I have only done 1 transmission drain on this car ever and it still shifts smooth(never even replaced the differntial fluid or the tran filter either). Driving this car till it breaks down. Hoping it goes another year or so.

It should start going up a good amount now. I'm moving and will live 20 miles from work instead of 5 miles. 40 miles/day instead of 10....should see 250K in no time!

You guys are barely broken in!
We got my current TL in 1999 with 124K miles on it, it was a company car. Now 10 years later it's at 242, I just developed my first rust spot because it's on its second year being parked outside in its life.

Also the low idle.
Get some throttle body cleaner and clean the throttle plate and bore. To get to it you just remove the intake from the throttle. Just get a toothbrush, spray, and scrub. The car will struggle to start so give it some gas if it is about to stall. Then drive it for 20 minutes and then your car should idle normally again.

just went past 295k miles on my 1998 3.2 TL
My 1998 3.2 TL just passed 295k miles. I have to keep it for another 2 years, so I expect to have around 400k miles before I retire it.
