I have a question: i was doing something to my car and cut the lighter ring light wires by accident. Now when igo to turn on my headlights, the gauge cluster, climate controls,sunroof-cruise (that section),shifter lights, and seat warmers-foglights do not light up anymore. I know this was a stupid move but what can i do to try to fix this problem. i need help quick. i am using a neon stick light that i got from kragens to light up my gauges at night and its getting annoying. any help would be great, and i hope i dont have to spend lots of dough to get it fixed by the dealer or shop. thanks guys for any help possible.

 

Have you checked the fuses ? If it was a cut wire couldnt you look for it and slpice it back together ? If all else fails try goin to a alarm stereo shop and ask them how much it would cost to fix ......it might not be as much as u think....get a few estimates thou .

I checked the fuse boxes and had my moms friend check it too. i think i might have short circuited the wire or something. ill take it to the alarm place this weekend. thanks guys for all the help
