Man, I love my Acura dealer!

I brought my car in for CEL and get the radio code this morning. They didn't give me a loaner or anything because they don't know if it would take that long so they put me in a shuttle and drove me home, that's a 20-minute drive.

Anyways, they called me a few hours later and told me that they have fixed the problem and they also got me the code for free, even though he first told me that it would cost about $50 to get the code. Their shuttle picked me up in about 30 minutes after the call and once I got there, I was pleasantly surprised that they also washed my car!! My service advisor told me that I should bring my car in at around 90k miles so they can do the free tune-up. Oh man...I love my dealer!!!!

Sounds like my local Honda dealer.. good service (nothing fancy) but they will work with you and do things right. They have Accord EX's for loaners. Saves me a trip to the Acura dealer which is about 25 miles from me, the Honda dealer isnt even a mile.

Oh hmm...the Honda dealer doesn't do crap here. Also, the Acura dealer is only 2 minutes away from the Honda dealer so that's why I go there.

i go to "courtesy acura" Pretty decent folk...gave me a loaner (98 teg), asked me if I wanted car washed and vacuumed free of charge, and the sales department let me test drive new tl and rl. i think i might have got lucky,...i heard acura dealers are not very good at all when compared to other luxury car dealers.

Man you guys are lucky... i'm about 40 minutes away from my Acura Dealer (Butts Acura)... and about 20 minutes away from my Honda Dealer (Sam Linder Honda)... If i were to take my car to Honda, they'd say to take it to Acura, that they don't take car of these cars, regardless if the engine says HONDA all over it... so they don't to crap for me, they just send me away... bastards... then after another 20 minute drive, i arrive at the Acura dealer and they are polite, but anything you ask for... anything they have to work for, they'll charge you... probably because their dealership is all the way out in the middle of nowhere... in other words, a place where there is hardly any traffic besides the locals... On the other hand, if you get something there from them, they don't even bother washing the car, on the contrary, they leave their greasy fingerprints all over it... oh well, i'm rambling on...

Congratz on the free carwash though... ***Jelouse***
