You won't really get them to shine like they are chrome without a good amount of money.

Some good cleaning, claying, polishing, and sealing will make them stand out though. I'll try and get a good picture of one of my wheels shining tomorrow.

edit: A quick example of a good shine.

his rims are actually chrome plated, some cars have them. I saw a 3.2TL with chrome oem's the other day it was parked next to me at school. It was black with ugly peeling chrome trim. I seriously thought I drove the tl from far away. I miss the 3.2

If ya need a hand really working on them, let me know. I've been looking for other people around RI that really enjoy their cars, tastefully.

Hmm, just checked the directory and you live in NJ iirc. For some reason I always think you live north of Providence.

I live in Maryland... and what do you mean by help on working on them?

I use eagle one wheel cleaning or what ever they are called on my rims, works great.

Working on getting them as good looking as they can be stock. I thought mine looked pretty good, but after claying/polishing/sealing they look even better.

damn, all that?

Mine have permanent stains on them due to the previous owner (my mom) never cleaning her car.

Anything that can get that shit to come out?

Depends. I used to have a weird stain that looked like water coming out from the center, like built up dirty water in the lug holes, that came out and stained when I drove. After some work, it is nearly completely out. It's worth the time IMO. Check out my updated picture thread for a better look.
