Lowering Springs "OTTO RACING SPRING Brand"

Has anyone ever heard of this brand? Here's a webpage selling them Link . Here's the link to the "dealer" "Dealer" .

The two webpages menu system look alike. I was looking for GoldLine lowering springs and came across these. In the description, it says "Tuned by Gold Line", whatever that means. Anyone have any input on these things? Could these be "B Grade" products that goldline doesn't sell under there own name?

ProCarParts usually has good stuff. I'm sure they are similiar, and perhaps B-Grade like you were talking about. Other good affordable srpings are the eibachs...the ProKit and the Sportline...

Yes, they make both the ProKit and the Sportline. The prokit is a subtle drop, and you can usually use your stock shocks with them. However, the Sportline goes lower and the stock shocks won't hold up long because of the mega-soft rode.

Cool, from the looks of it, I'd get the prokit. Does anyone know if these are hard to install yourself? I might be able to get access to an autobody shop if need be...

I was thinking of installing some ProKit from Eibacb but from reading some previous post's, it doesn't seem like much of a visual difference. So i'm in search of a good price for a set of Goldline's that will drop the car 1.5 both front and back. I'm also going to be installing some 18's on it soon too.

Anyone have a favourite site they go to to order parts?

I just ordered the B+G coilovers from www.performancecenter.com for a total of $1095, w/ shipping and taxes. The best cost I could find for shocks (OEM replacements) and springs(Eibach Prokit) was a little under $750, without shipping and taxes. Neither of these included a camber adjustment kit. For the cost of oem shocks and to avoid the chance of having an underdampened suspension, I went with the coilovers.

The Eibach Sportline's go for $319 and the Eibach Pro-Kit's go for $319. The Prokits will drop it Approx. 1.2 Front and 1.0 Rear. The Sportline's will drop Approx. 1.7 Front and 1.7 Rear. These prices are good only for Acura-TL.com members this is also only 95-98.

Those prices seem to be very high, assuming that they are US funds. They retail here for $299 CA for either kit.

Go to tirerack.com they have the sportline kit for $188 + shipping. Was that B&G coilover system universal? Or is it 3.2 or 2.5 specific?

Yes. Buy it on ebay if you want Eibachs. You can get it for under $200 shipped. Try emailing the sellers and you can probably get a group buy.

Check this place out Cornflake, Tiretrend.ca , they quoted me $299 CA + $10 shipping anywhere in Canada and only 7% tax since they're on the west coast and we're in ontario.

I doubt that it's the lowest price you'll find but i figured it was a good price for a one stop shop when i was looking to get my rims, tires, and springs. Although i put all that off, i'm still going to get my tires from there.

On the price I listed that is sudgested retail price as said by the manufacturer now if any one is intrested I can bump off about 15% of that number but that will only be good for Acura TL members only and that doesn't include shiping. Let me know if you want any. Check out our site : http://www.freewebs.com/ridetodie/
