Lightweight rims/tires?

Well, summer is coming up and once I get my bumper cleaned up, I was thinking about going with a drop and set of rims for the car.

I am looking for something spoked (like a stock 2.5 rim) not a solid piece with holes out of it.

Something lightweight too would be nice, does anyone know the stock weight of the 2.5 wheels? I know they are 15x6, and 4x114.3 +55 offset, but not the weight

I don't want a spend a whole crapload of money on them, but would like something that looks nice, that I could sell at the end of the season before college, I'm trying to spend my money relatively practically.

For the new rims, 17x7 should be alright, right? Where will sizes/offsets start to play a roll? I will probably drop the car at the same time (1.7" with goldline I am thinking?)

I have 17x7+42 offset and it fits just fine. Mike has 18x7.5 +42 and he fits too. I think that 7.5 +42 is the most that will fit. Im sure that wider with a higher offset should be okay too, but just not too much wider to be safe. I know wheelmax.com has some cheap wheels and tires. If you just want something to look nice and not really worry about "baller" status go there. Get some nicer wheels later on when you have more dough.

you 2.5's are lucky, your cars can fit lower offset wheels
