hey 96TL,

i'm assuming that you changed your license plate bulbs to hyper whites...what type of bulbs did you get? would you happen to know which polarg bulb fits the license plate?

i looked on Tim's site and the polarg replacement for the 168's are 18 watts, yet i read in the owner's maual that the license plate bulb is only 8 watts. if i use the 18 watt bulb, will that fry the system?

I used Polarg 168's. The same ones as the parking and corner bumper lights. Its been about a year and I've had no problems. Polarg makes the actual bulb thats supposed to go in there. I think its a 194.

a little warning for people who wanna change the lisence plate bulbs. you can only have them white or else the cops pull them over. i was pulled over for having red ones. apparently changing the colors of these bulbs help gang members identify themselves. so yeah be careful about that.

hey no problem at all bro. The 168 isn't the exact one that goes in for the license plate, but it will do since it has the same connector, and there are two of them... they're bright enough.
