Just picked up a 97 3.2 TL

I got this car for my son and it has almost 200K miles.
I have a couple of quick questions for all you experienced TL owners.
I just bought it today and the previous owner is trying to find the key fob for me. I have just the regular key right now, I drove it home and it drives great. My son and daughter got in to it when I got it home and were checking everything out. Then when they got out the alarm(horn) goes off and I cannot shut it off without the key fob!!! HELP!!!! WHat do I do? THis thing honks for like 3 or 4 minutes and finally shuts off but then I cannot get in and start it or anything without it going off again.

I think I figured it out. I manually lock and unlock with the key in the drivers side door. DUH!! It is hard to think clearly when that horn is blaring in your ears!!!!

That is what you do. That is what happened to my car when my aunt owned it before I did. Good luck with it.

You can find stock keyless entry remotes with programming instructions on ebay.
