i recently broke a rod in my engine and wanted to replace it with a jdm engine. will i be able to do that without switching my whole car over to right hand drive??

 

Not sure if this is a joke or not, but no, you wont have to convert your car to RHD.

 

I found this amusing as well.

As he said, you wouldn't have to go RHD, but you probably can get a USDM motor for less than a JDM one in your area. Look into that first.

I once found a place in NY/NJ who only sells JDM engines for our 2.5 pr 3.2.
They guaranteed that the engines only had between 35k to 55k miles.

I ended up buying a USDM engine for $850.00 with 39k miles on it.

search on line and you will find some company who sells JDM engines for our cars.

 

Noob question, but what's the difference between jdm and usdm for 2.5 motors?
