Idle RPM

Whats the average idle rpm for the 3.2 TL? I've just noticed that my car now idles at around 300-400 RPM. It used to idle around 1000 RPM. I'm wondering if this is a good or bad thing? O_o

i believe its 750. are you sure its not 700ish? and not 300-400? i dont think the engine would idle at that speed with out it being really ruff. i know the first line on my tach is the 500 line

actaully after putting in my intake today it idled low... around 400-500.. however even before today it would idle just lower of the first line under 1000 rpm... u gotta account the weather in there too.. maybe cause its getting warmer..

I'm pretty sure it's around 300-400. There is the 1000 RPM mark, then 500 mark, and the 250 mark (?). And it's between the 250 and 500 mark.

Any idea why it's idling this low and what could go wrong in the long run? Anyway to fix it?

Weather is getting warmer, but it is still cold. I live in Washington so the weather fluctuates from cold to warm a lot.

try resetting your ecu then go out driving and see where it is. if its running smooth i wouldnt worry about it, but if its gutting so low that the car has a rough idle and wants to die then mabe bring it in. i would try resetting the ecu (disconect the batteryfor 10 15 min) first.
