for me it was a pain in the ass to change the headlamp bulbs... the passenger side was easy but the driver side was impossible because of the water bottle..
i had to unscrew and totally take off the front bumper, unbolt and loosen the re-enforcement bar.. after all that, then i could take out the while headlamp assembly.. i've done this about 5 times in about a month's time span and i'm just getting the hang of it.

wait a sec... you have to take out the bumper or water bottle to pull out the headlight?!?!?!?! i pulled mines out without moving any of those 2. but then again, i have a 2.5 (i think its easier for 2.5) i mean it was easy on the driver side, for a 2.5, but i didnt try to take out the passenger side. its probably hard on the pass side...never tried

i work at a bodyshop and i have some experience taking off different kinds of bumpers... i tried taking out the water bottle but it wouldn't budge...
it may seem like a lot of work, but i'm used to it and its not a problem... it just gives me something to do and a little more experience with tl's. the reason for taking off the bumper to change the light bulb is because i needed a lot of room to look around the headlight assembly.
and in order to take out the headlight assembly, i needed to take off the bumper re-enforcement because it was in the way. there may be a easier way.. but i like my life hard...
i do everything the hard way. whats the point of owning a car if it doesn't cause any frustrations?

ShopLifter, if you look at the water bottle you'll see that the whole thing doesn't come out, but just the top portion. Theres a 10mm bolt holding it in. Once you get the bolt you should notice that the top portion of the water bottle is latched onto the fender. Give it a twist and pull up.
