Hi beams in fogs

Soooooooo...i was thinking about this for awhile now but i've never brought it up so i thought i'd just get some opinions. what do you think about using the existing housing for the fog lights and putting a projector there so that the high (or lo) beam would be there instead? It already looks like it should be that way anyways. Any thoughts on it? Could it be done? Anybody think it would be cool?

yeah, I was thinking about doing the mod for along time too, but Im too scare of separating the headlight housing from the clear part out. Used, cheap headlights are rare nowadays. If I cracked it then it might mean I having to spend $350 for a brand new one.

My original plan was to separate the clear lense part from the housing.
Then add 2 projector lense. One to the low beam portion, and the other to the fog portion to make the high beam. Then theres going to be gaps between the projector housing and the headlight housing. I was going to fill it up with Bondo and smooth it out so the whole thing would looked like it was build that way from the factory. Finally, I would paint the part I filled with Bondo with black paint to make it look JDM style and to also help to block out unwanted reflections.

I also contemplated of attaching a powered miirror part to the back of the projector housing so that I can control the direction of the beam from inside my car. But thats too much work and might not work out right.

I guess I'll do it someday when I find some cheap spare headlights.
