Im thinking of getting this 97 2.5 TL but kind of skeptic about it. The car has a few minor problems, the front right headlight and rear headlight are cracked and don't work, the bumper in the back is kind of crooked, the man was in 2 accidents, the right door looks a little odd, it was fixed from the accident but still looks odd if you really look. it has 96,000 miles on it and he is selling it for $6000 He assures me the car is in perfect condition, that price is kinda low so im wonderin if something is wrong with it, my dad test drove it and it seemed fine but we don't know any mechanics that could check it out nor could we take it to a mechanic because it doesn't have tags... what should I do? should I just go for it?

Those are minor fixes the TL is a super reliable car for 6 g's i think id go for it, find out if he has had the timing belt and water pump replaced yet though cuz thats gunna big bills for u to do in the future if he hasnt done it yet

Does the car have a clean title? I wouldn't buy it if its a lemon. Insurance will kill you.

Also, the headlights & tails are very expensive. Tell him $5000 if he wants to sell it.

Run a car fax, and definitely get under the car and check out the chasis. Dont wanna a car with a bent frame.

Whats a chasis?? and how much would it cost for those clear headlights and inspire taillights? would it just be cheaper to get those?
