Hello everyone, I just wanted to know if the headgasket was covered under the extended emission warranty. Cause quite frankly, alot of emissions is coming out of my tailpipe!!

try searching here or the internet for the actual document- someone had it in a gen1 thread recently- I know it covered tune up parts but IMO and this is only My Opinion
a head gasket prob is caused by failure of the water pump or lack of oil and may not be related in any way to basic maitenance tune-ups

car never over heated while I had it so far. I dont know if it over heated with the previous owner.

I remember seeing that pdf somewhere and I didn't see headgaskets neither. But the main point is the car is polluting.

if it has never overheated and you don't have surging idle issue, you should be okay with the HG... your exhaust problem could be many things... EGR could be clogged, too much carbon deposits... have to tried to Seafoam the engine yet??? does the exhaust coming out smell??? what color is the smoke???

The headgasket was not covered under the emissions warranty when I had it done (2 - 3 years ago).
