Has this been around a while?

I went to autozone and needed some new valve stem caps cauz some little shit stole mine and for $8 they had these valve caps that let you know when the air pressure is low. You gotta put on when the air pressure is right and then I guess when the pressure turns too low, red appears on the tips. Not a big deal but fer me, I am sooo lazy, i have walked out to check pressure and found tires in the mid 20 psi cause it had been so long. they are made by comany called camel

I've heard of them in past few years but never seen them in person.

Those caps are very nice and have been around for only a couple years. They are cool to have and well worth the $8.

I'll stick with my plastic ones for now, but what is the suggested air pressure in our cars (mine being a 97 2.5) tires? Havn't had the car long enough to check it (usually do about once a week, or every other week) and its at the dealership right now, but thats a different story...

And those caps, as long as they work well, seem like a great idea, I would probably buy a set if I saw them, and knew they worked, so much easier then taking off a cap, checking the pressure, finding out its fine, and putting the cap back on.

Suggested is around 28 or 29 psi if I remember correctly.

I run it about 33 psi front and 31 rear. Keeps the smooth ride but turn-in is a bit better.

I have the TL Type S Rims and I keep them at 32psi all around. I was driving them at 36psi to get better fuel economy, but the ride was so still I couldn't take it.

You guys are crazy... lol... i've worked at Chevron Full Service Gas Station, YES PUMPING GAS LIKE IN THE 40's. Anywyas, the tire pressure recommended and that most tires are made for is between 32 and 36. Now, there is a catch... not all tires are the same and not all rims are the same... Given that, there is no correct or exact tire pressure. Another factor would be elevation but i don't think that would really that bad unless you talking about 10's of thousand of feet. Still the only amount pressure you should have in your tires is your tires own, meaning, what your tires say!!! You never know when you are going to have ghetto tire set up, or it was an emergency and you have to put some Firestone in the front, one Goodyear in the back with another tire...lets say Toyo on the other side... Not all three are going to have the same recommended PSI... Have fun...
:gheywave:
Saying the above, if this post is to check what other peoples Tire pressure is at... Mines at 35 all around... becuase my tires say on the tire in small lettering... 36 PSI...

And i wouldn't know about those tire pressure things... first time i seen them was about 3 or 4 years ago...
