I was using a Tom Tom Go and it worked a treat. Cost me about $800 with all the Navi DVDs and a 1GB SD card. Keep in mind that this was almost 2 years ago. I wish I had the new Tom Tom Go 700, though... built-in Bluetooth so the POIs that it announces can be called through your mobile, and you use the internal speaker as the speakerphone.

~Cheers~

woowww i just stoped looking at navi units when i got mine and the garmin streetpilot c330 cost me $650 only 6 or 7 months ago its down to $400-$450 on ebay, I looked at the nuvi 350 to see the differences the only ones i could find are first off its a flat screen, second it pronounces the street names you need to turn onto, and it plays mp3's..... now i dont how usefull the mp3 part is considering the speaker isnt fantastic..... oh and the nuvi 350's are going for about $620 on ebay

Portable Navigation

Let me suggest the Garmin IQ3600. I bought it for the GPS and found that the Navigation capabilites are amazing. I use the GPS in my boat and my car.

Here is a website where you can find a review of this little gem: http://www.gpsinformation.org/dale/Palm/iQueGPS.htm

You can find it on EBAY for about $230.00, including a charging stand and vehicle mount. It is advertised as refurbished, but you can't tell by looking at it.

Check it out -
