Hairline crack along top of radiator
I just got a 1997 Acura TL for my sons first car and we discovered a crack along the top of the radiator... Obviously we need to get a new one and I will as soon as we have money in the next month to do that. A mechanic that looked at it told me it was alright to drive in the meantime as long as we kept and eye on the coolant level.. Is that true?

Yeah I had the same problem as you last year. In my case the foam near the radiator was soaked in coolant, but I kept driving until I got a new radiator. Just keep an eye on the coolant level, and engine temp.

Yeah, you can still keep driving it. But i wouldn't. I'd repair it right away. If you are not careful. You can and may blow a headgasket. I'd rather pay 100-250 for raditor replacement then 1000 to 2000 for a headgasket replacement.
