Government Auctions?

Has anyone bought their car from one?
I'm looking to buy a 300zx tt, and I don't even know what to expect...
Are the cars salvage? Can we know ANYTHING about the cars? I want to at least know what condition or previous history of it. Or if we can inspect the actual car?
If anyone knows the answers... please let me know. Thanks.

to my knowledge from frieNds who bought cars at auctions. they will let you inspect the car but will not let you test drive it. cars could be salvaged, repo, etc... what you buy is what you get. good luck.

they are USUALLY salvage... just look at the prices...

unless it is a repo.. then it is a good chance it should be clean title

Be very careful. Unless you have the ability to perform your own repairs, you could pay a lot more than selling price in expensive repairs to get a usable car. There's a reason they are going cheap.

You can probably find a better value (higher price but higher quality) on ebay. I've bought/sold several w/ mostly good results. Watch out for scams by con buyers trying to get you to return "overpayment" on a bad check.

good luck
