so I got it installed (viper 791vx) and I want to get window modules installed the guy told me it would be 340 for all 4 windows up and down.. does that sound right? seems kind of expensive and has anyone gotten a trunk actuator installed on their car? the guy said he didn't think it would fit

Trunk actuator should fit no problem. That's not that far off from a shop rate for the windows. WIll use up at least two modules, maybe four depending on the modules he uses and they range from $25-$70 per module plus quite a bit of wiring to hook everything up. It's a little high, but then I get deals cause I know a lot of guys at the shops I deal with.

Yeah, but I've seen on e-bay for from $20-$60 US. Retail is about in that range too. Little higher for some of the better modules, like the DEI which actually makes the window switches work as express down on any window hooked up once it's installed. Getting those for my car soon.

The DEI window module controls up to two windows. They cost about 50$ each. I have installed the DEI window module with my Viper 791xv although they are easy to install theere is alot of wireing that needs to be ran, so labor prices on windows tend to be high @ some shops.
