Hey guys tell me what you think about this head unit.... I was pretty much p!ssed of with my stock headunit (i blew a couple of fuses and cut too many wires trying to hook up the RCA connector to it) that i just went out and bought myself a new deck and had it installed.

This is awesome, loud as hell, im still trying to hook up my sub to it the amp powers up but the sub wont work for some reason. I should hopefully be getting that sorted out tomorrow.

ohhh man... why didn't you hook up the rca out at the rear speakers???? even if u cut the wires back there u could fix it easily... well at leat u got a new HU out of this whole ordeal... nice i always liked alpine...

 

i still would have had to hook up the ground wire and the remote in wire.

i think in total i blew about five fuses. my clock only comes on when i turn the key to number two. can any one tell me which lights are supposed to come on (on the dash) when i turn the key to number one... my lights only come on when i turn the key to number two...

 

any 60x4 is good. usually 60x4 always comes with a remonte. dont ever get one w/o a remote b/c i use to have an alpine that didn't come with one and id always have to press the buttons on the unit and after a few years, it'd get stuck. so get one with a remote!

 

yeah, it comes with a remote.... theres only two things i dont like about the deck firstly it takes too long to play a cd. you put the cd in and you have to wait 6-7 seconds atleast before it starts playing.... other thing is its not straight forward to adjust the bass or treble like on some decks apart from that its

 

Yea I have a 60x4 Alpine deck too. Sounds so much better than the shity stock hu.
